Our history dates from 1975, PERUVIAN SAFARIS S.A. (PS) began as a Travel Agency and the following year we inaugurated the first Eco-Touristic Lodge in the Peruvian Amazon - The Explorer's Inn, which for over thirty years became the custodian of the original Reserved Zone of Tambopata of 5,500 hectares, today the Tambopata National Reserve and the Bahuaja-Sonene National Park, which both protect more than a million hectares of the tropical forest of the Amazon. The Explorer's Inn is the only lodge wholly located within the Reserve.
